Art Kits
One art kit comes with every Guided Art Lab, and are an add on option for Self-Guided Art Labs. Each kit contains materials for up to five people, along with a materials guide and idea starters. Basic studio supplies such as water containers, scissors, rulers, glue sticks, pencils, erasers, pencil sharpeners, tape, markers or colored pencils, and a washing station are always available. Self-guided art labs do not include an instructor.
Materials lists are a representative sample of what is included in the kit. Some materials may be swapped or substituted, but the kit will always include everything you need for a fun experience! You are, of course, welcome to take anything you make in the studio home, but the kit contents are for studio use only.
Acrylic Painting
Canvas panels, acrylic paint set, mixing trays, brushes.
Watercolor Painting
Watercolor paper, pan and/or liquid watercolor sets, mixing trays, brushes.
Gouache Painting
Paper, gouache paint sets, mixing trays, brushes.
H2O Oil Painting
Oil paper, water soluble oils paint set, mixing trays or palette paper, brushes.
Finger Puppets
Felt pieces, fabric scraps, google eyes, yarn, embroidery floss and needles, or glue gun for no sew option.
General Crafts
Pipe cleaners, pom-pons, google eyes, craft sticks, wood shapes, tissue paper, craft foam, colored tape, cardboard tubes or pieces.
Jewelry Making
Materials and tools to make earrings, pins, necklaces, and bracelets.
Block Printing
Soft cut linoleum and/or printing foam, cutting tools, printing ink, brayers, printing baren or press, variety papers.
Mono Printing
Gelli printing plates, printing ink, stencils and stamps, texture materials and tools, variety paper, brayers.
Bookmaking
Materials and tools to make accordion books and Japanese Stab bound books.
Metal
Copper or aluminum tooling foil, tooling pads, embossing tools, copper or aluminum wire, tooling stamps.
Collage
Card stock, magazines and collage images, decorative papers, gel medium or Mod Podge, variety drawing materials.
Mixed Media
Trading card paper, Stabilo Woodies or All-Pencils, water soluble oil crayons or pencils, gel or paint pens, gouache or acrylic paint, brushes and other useful tools.
Drawing
Variety art paper, drawing pencils, pastel pencils, charcoal pencils, blending tools, drawing pens.
Alcohol Ink
Yupo paper, alcohol ink set, brushes, droppers and other useful tools.
India Ink
Variety papers, colored India ink set, black ink brush pens, mixing trays, brushes.
